CRAWFORD, Col. James David - General Secretary to the British Association in Montreal


Colonel James David Crawford (18__-1920), general secretary of the British Association in Montreal, accompanied the BA excursionists to the North-West and the Bell Farm in 1884. He was the first Commanding Officer of the 5th Regiment, also known as the Royal Scots of Canada Highlanders, serving from 1875 until 1882.
