Mayor Karpa lights the Mortgage held by Kay Dixon - 9 Aug. 2013 (Photo by Bruce Neill) - In 2009 the Society took out a loan for $150,000 to complete reconstruction of the Bell Barn. That loan has now been paid off and the "Mortgage" was ceremoniously burned to mark the event.
